Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available for a full semester contract at an elementary school in Leander, TX, beginning in January and concluding in May. This position serves a diverse caseload of approximately 45-50 students, including those receiving speech-only services, resource/inclusion support, Autism services, and participation in a specialized social skills program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and individualized speech-language therapy to elementary students.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to speech, language, and social communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy goals into the educational environment.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed.
- Support inclusion and specialized programs targeting social skills development.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Texas State Licensure.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Familiarity with diverse student populations, including Autism spectrum disorders and social skills interventions.
